Episode 2 of Chapter 2 of the Coldfire Chronicles arrived today with another majestic piece of artwork by Kim Kogut.
We’re going to be releasing a new character every episode until we’ve got through them all. Here’s Auberyn; dressed in his Canto Bight Hunt Club outfit. Doesn’t he look dashing?
So the first episode of Chapter 2 of the Coldfire Chronicles hit last Monday and with it; this majestic piece of artwork by Kim Kogut. We’re going to be releasing a new character every episode until we’ve got through them all. Here’s J’ren – fresh from getting some new clothes that don’t look like he’s just escaped from Prison.
Name: Agatha Hungatir
Offences: First-degree homicide, Assault of an ISB Agent.
Identifying marks: like all Mirialans, Agatha wears facial tattoos representing his history. In particular: twin stars above his right eye, signifying his birthworld and clan, a thin chain beside his eye signifying duties and debts, and a serrated blade down the cheekbone signifying a violent adolescence.
Predictable behaviour: Agatha is a former mob enforcer, eager to supply muscle to a paying employer. He likes to pick fights, particularly against something bigger, so he can mark his skin with the ‘glories’ of his victories. Since his arrest, Agatha has been unable to access the necessary implements to mark his face with a tattoo signifying the crime he’s been locked up for.
Do not be complacent with this prisoner.
Prisoner statement: Agatha killed Wookie. You should run. You run away now.
Name: Auberon Bryck
Offense(s): Fraud, Treason, Manslaughter, Third-degree homicide, Second-degree homicide, First-degree homicide, Arson in the Imperial Docks
Prisoner Statement: The only crime I have committed is to betray my family, a crime I freely admit. My line is one contains the most extraordinary collection of thieves, rogues and murderers ever seen in the galaxy.
Obviously they are mostly senators and arms dealers. I have lived my life in a bubble of privilege, and it is only recent events that awakened me to the cruelty and callousness of the galaxy.
I am no one’s executioner nor will I ever be.
My only regret is to my younger brother and sister, who I plead to wake up and realise the true nature of things.
Name: Lasa Styngen
Job Title: Environmental Engineer
Location: Daxos Penitentiary Mining Facility
Next of Kin: None
Employment Record: Styngen has worked at the facility for six rotations; acting as our Engineer. Due to the extremely low temperatures on the Moon, Styngen’s primary role is the maintenance and repair of the Atmospheric Dampeners that protect the Imperial Base, to a lesser extent, the prisoner quarters from the extreme weather. I have found Styngen to be a focused employee who maintains the systems under her care efficiently and with care.
There have been some Complaints about Styngen from other staff, most recently from Base Operations who describe her as universally belligerent and confrontational.
Atmospheric Dampeners efficiency: 98%
Complaints filed. No follow up required.
